Just in case there’s any doubt, this excellent post is not by me but by Brian Drayton. I don’t know how to “reblog” another person’s blog-posting using WordPress without having it appear as if I’m the author. I’ve explained this to Brian, offering to take it down if he finds my reblogging of his intellectual property objectionable. I just wanted to help his message get maximum circulation.
